Our findings…

We found Advias already had some really solid groundwork done on their website, in terms of having a very content-led approach (this is something a lot of businesses neglect.

However, there were very few keywords ranking in the top 10 meaning the website was getting very little organic traffic.

We found some low-hanging fruit opportunities to optimise the headings on pages to pick up more organic search terms.

We also found a number of opportunities to create more of a hierarchical structure on the website for the different services they offer. This makes it easier for Google to rank a website, whilst also demonstrating authority and expertise through layered page content.

Another big challenge was the website had very few backlinks, being a new business, which makes it hard for Google to take the website seriously, especially when surrounded by very established companies, all of whom have strong SEO and backlink profiles.

Our solution…

Firstly we got to work on optimising the page content and page hierarchy to give us the best possible chance of ranking organically for our target keywords.

We then worked on a content strategy designed to establish Advias as an authority in their key service areas.

We began creating value-driven blog content with input from the experts at Advias, which got us a few articles ranking on page 1 within the first couple of months

With this initial framework, we then started a digital PR campaign, reaching out to publications and journalists in the space to get topical links back to the content on the Advias site.

This is much easier to do when you’ve already created original, valuable content on your site as it helps the journalists make more compelling pieces, whilst also helping us to secure valuable links.

Over time, this helped us to boost the overall website authority in Google’s eyes which resulted in a 10x increase in organic traffic over the initial 6 month engagement
