What’s the process for WordPress website builds?
Step 1: Initial Research
During our initial kick-off call, we’ll be diving into your key goals and objectives for the new site. We’ll also deep-dive into your audience to map out the ideal user journey as well as planning the page structure for optimal SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
Step 2: Wireframing
Next, we’ll begin creating wireframes of the site and user journey. Once these have been approved we’ll begin the full design mock-ups before pushing into the development phase
Step 3: Design & Development
Once everyone is happy with the design mock-ups, we’ll begin the design and development of your new site on a staging server. That way, your current website (if you have one) won’t be effected while we build.
Step 4: Content Upload
This stage usually goes hand-in-hand with the new site development, but we will now be asking you to provide us with the key content (images, videos and copy) for each page on the website. Don’t worry we’ll give you pointers and suggestions along the way.
Step 5: Testing & Debugging
Before we launch, we run our final user testing & debugging on the site (as well as checking any integrations) to ensure a frictionless launch.
Step 6: Server Migration & Launch
Finally, we’ll migrate the site from the staging server onto the live server. We’ll just need you to update your DNS in order for the new website to go live on your domain.
